		False Christ And the African American Demand for Reparations (continued)
When we African Americans study history, we see that, yes, we have a valid claim against these European so-called white people.  They kidnapped, enslaved and terrorized our forebears -- and became rich and powerful as a result.  And they continue to exploit and terrorize us to this day. But the validity of our claim is also its undoing -- and its promise. Our valid claim is so huge as to be beyond recovery.  Without the coerced assistance of our African forebears, the European invasion, settlement and conquest of this hemisphere would have been impossible.  Without this coerced African assistance, that economic explosion known as the "Industrial Revolution" would not have occurred.  Without the unfortunate intervention of Europeans,  the widespread economic and moral degradation of so large a population of Africans would have been inconceivable.  We were not thieves, rapists, murderers, unmarried parents and dope fiends in Africa. And what claim can be recovered on the tens of millions who were killed? If these Europeans -- so-called white Americans -- gave us everything they have and gave themselves to us in perpetual servitude along with twelve generations of their descendants, this would not pay the debt.  On top of this, they owe the Native Americans all the land, and damages.  They owe the Cubans, the Guatemalans, the Nicaraguans, the Chileans, the Philippinos, the Congolese, the Indonesians, the Timorese, the Iraqis, the Iranians, the Palestinians, the Lebanese, the Libyans, the Vietnamese, the Cambodians, the Laotians, and many more.
They owe.
The other side of our claim is this:  If we understand what our African forebears did for the European, under duress and in misery and ignorance, what more can we do for ourselves as a free, fortunate and educated people?  Instead of looking to the Europeans to make the difference, we must look to ourselves. Many of us will say:  "They won't let us."  I agree.  They won't let us.  But the White Man is not God.  Nobody on this earth let the Europeans take this planet from them.  They fought from one end of the planet to the other.  Are we inferior to them?  They can be successful without anyone's permission but we must be allowed by someone to succeed?  On the contrary, we must demand of ourselves that we be successful relying only upon the One who created us, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the One who gave us intelligence and other abilities that we must use for our own benefit. We have made them rich and powerful.  Now let us make ourselves rich and powerful.  Let us not emulate the overwhelming greed and brutality of the European conquerers, or the indifference to suffering of their current leaders.  Let us set an example, that a compassionate, god-fearing people can overcome the greatest obstacles, succeed, and prosper.
